**Staff SRE - Developer Experience (May 2024 - Present)**
- Tech Lead since May 2026, when the team grew and split in two
- Mentoring 3 engineers between graduate and mid-level (2023 to present)
- Helping teams get their repos AI agent ready, self-service where possible (uplift skills and docs) and hands-on for the rest
- Helped build an "agent workflows" tool running on Buildkite, and used it to build a custom PR reviewer quickly adopted by all teams
- Designed and built our internal MCP server in late 2025 providing agents company context such as internal package docs, developer analytics, and engineering standards - 100 weekly active users (70% of engineers) within 3 months
- Continued leading development of Hotel CLI, including adding a plugin system enabling other teams to contribute; 2 teams have plugins so far

**Senior SRE - Developer Experience (Jun 2023 - May 2024)**
- Drove the local developer environments initiative end-to-end: user interviews, an engineering standard, and a data-led rollout focusing on high value repos reaching 80% of where work happens - reducing repo onboarding from days to minutes
- As a team we cut new-joiner time-to-tenth-PR from 90 days to under 30 within a year
- Led the development of Hotel, an internal Go CLI tool that automates setup and maintenance of developer laptops, including corporate proxy fixes, and self-service diagnostics (`hotel doctor`)

**Senior SRE - Frontend Foundations (Jul 2022 - Jun 2023)**
- Main contributor to our front-end hosting infrastructure; custom serverless Next.js hosting with branch previews (built on a fork of serverless-nextjs running on AWS CDK, CloudFront, Lambda, and S3)
- Migrated customer-facing frontends to the new hosting with zero downtime

- Built a new geometry aware pattern engine, so we could visualise and verify a pattern was correct and knittable; implemented for some garments before the company ran out of funding

- React/TypeScript (plus some Elm and Rails) on the newly acquired Performance product
- Got the product working reliably behind China's Firewall; wrote a custom webpack plugin serving assets through jsDelivr CDN with SRI hashes, worked well for over two years until it was no longer needed
